1. Second Skin Patch

  • Keep the initial patch on for 24 hours. After 24 hours, remove it and apply a new patch. Keep the new patch on for up to 3 days.

  • When removing the patch, do so very gently.

  • Wash the tattoo with hypoallergenic soap and lukewarm water.
Pat the area dry with a clean paper towel (avoid cloth towels).

  • Wash and dry the tattoo twice a day while it heals.

2. Protect the patch.

  • Do not expose the tattoo to direct sunlight while it heals.

3. After removing the patch:

  • Apply a healing cream such as (Aquaphor, Eucerin Repair Cream, or Mad Rabbit Tattoo Aftercare).

  • Use a small amount, the skin should feel moisturized, not greasy.

  • Apply cream 2–3 times a day for at least 2 - 3 weeks.

4. After 21 days:

  • Begin applying sunscreen and a daily moisturizer to protect the tattoo.

  • Please send me a photo so I can check the healing process.

5. Restrictions:

  • No exercise for 7 days.

  • No swimming (beach, pool, lakes, sauna) for 3 weeks.

6. Important:

  • If you notice redness, rash, or irritation around the patch, remove it immediately.

  • Wash the area gently with soap and apply healing cream.

  • This may mean you’re allergic to the adhesive, and leaving it on could harm your tattoo.

Please follow these steps carefully to ensure your tattoo heals beautifully. Now it’s your turn to take care of it! Send me a photo of your healed tattoo after 3 weeks.
